Free training for 1500 people – AI literacy initiative
The 1500 Pioneers program is a free, community-based AI literacy initiative targeting 1500 young people aged 16 and above across villages in North Lebanon. Operating under our SkillBridge initiative (by For Zgharta Zawieh Association) in cooperation with SCOW Support Center, Ministry of IT and AI, Arab Open University, the program will be delivered across 26 geographic hubs, with sessions hosted in schools, municipal halls, and community centers. The visit of the new Australian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mr. Tom Wilson, commenced with a tour of the historic Saydet Zgharta (Our Lady of Zgharta) neighborhood. For Zgharta Zawieh Association organized a photographic exhibition “Lebanon and Australia Over Time” at Antonine University – Mejdlaya, Zgharta, under the patronage of Australian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mr. Andrew Barnes.
