The Launch of “Kadmous Cultural Center” in Zgharta Under the Patronage of Minister of Culture Rony Arayji

Under the patronage of the Minister of Culture, Mr. Rony Arayji, the Zgharta Zawieh Youth Movement (ZZM) officially launched the “Kadmous Cultural Center” during a ceremony held at the Don Bosco Center in Zgharta, attended by prominent local figures and invited guests.

The initiative aims to establish an intellectual space in Zgharta to respond to the cultural, artistic, and social needs of youth, children, and the broader community. By enhancing targeted educational and cultural efforts, the center seeks to foster dialogue, exchange expertise, and encourage collaborative learning.

Speaking at the event, Pierre Douaihy, President of the Zgharta Zawieh Youth Movement, highlighted that the center will actively engage with active community groups and development foundations. He emphasized that Kadmous Center will work to build the capacity of team members across local associations, youth groups, and clubs throughout the Zgharta Zawieh district—specifically within education, arts, and youth skill development.

In his address, Minister Rony Arayji praised the initiative, noting:

“It is no surprise that we meet today to launch a cultural center project in Zgharta. The history of our region is rich with the creations of great minds… I commend this initiative out of a deep belief in the role of culture and creativity in driving human and civilizational progress.”

The launch of the Kadmous Cultural Center marks a significant step forward in enriching the local cultural scene, celebrating the region’s rich heritage of writers, poets, and artists while empowering the next generation.
