Who we are
The For Zgharta Association was founded in 2017 by Mr. Pierre Marcos Douaihy, a dedicated community leader committed to serving Zgharta through compassion, culture, and development.
Prior to establishing this association, Mr. Douaihy, alongside his colleagues, played a vital role in creating several initiatives that strengthened the community:
Haraket Chabeb Zgharta Zawieh (2014) – focused on empowering youth and encouraging civic engagement.
Association of Charity and Development (2015) – dedicated to humanitarian aid and social support.
Zgharta Ghadouna (2016) – promoting local identity, culture, and community participation.
These experiences laid the foundation for the For Zgharta Association, which unites charity, cultural heritage, and sustainable development under one mission.
